Loop Returns vs. AfterShip vs. QuickReturns: Which Shopify Returns App Should You Choose in 2026?

This Loop Returns vs AfterShip vs QuickReturns comparison uses the prices each company publishes. You have probably decided that returns need their own app. Now you need to know which one fits your store and what it costs each month.
All three apps list a free plan. After that, the paid plans differ a lot. Loop Returns starts at $155 a month, while AfterShip Returns and QuickReturns both start at $19. However, the two $19 plans include different volumes: 20 returns on AfterShip and 60 requests on QuickReturns.
Below, you will find the plan prices, what each plan includes, a side-by-side table and a short way to decide.
The quick answer: Loop Returns, AfterShip or QuickReturns
- Choose Loop Returns if you want Shop Now, Instant Exchange and Bonus Credit. Its free Checkout+ plan includes them, along with US and Canada domestic return labels. Paid plans start at $155 a month.
- Choose AfterShip Returns if you already use AfterShip for tracking and handle about 20 returns a month. Essentials costs $19 a month for 20 returns, then $0.50 for each extra return.
- Choose QuickReturns if you want low published prices per request and exchange offers through ConvertX. It also connects to couriers in India and to international carriers. The Free plan covers 10 requests a month, and Growth costs $19 for 60.
The rest of this post shows the numbers behind that answer.
Loop Returns pricing in 2026
Loop publishes three plans on its pricing page, plus an Enterprise option through its sales team. The Loop prices below are starting prices in US dollars. For comparison, the QuickReturns plans sit in the same table.
| Plan | Monthly price | What the plan lists |
|---|---|---|
| Loop Returns Checkout+ | Free | Returns software, US and Canada domestic return labels, Return Bars, advanced features, Package Protection |
| Loop Returns Essential | Starting at $155 | Unlimited destinations, automated return policies, carrier rate shopping, Workflows |
| Loop Returns Advanced | Starting at $340 | Shop Now, Instant Exchange, Bonus Credit, fraud prevention |
| Loop Returns Enterprise | Talk to sales | Quote from Loop’s sales team |
| QuickReturns Free | $0 | 10 return or exchange requests a month, branded return portal |
| QuickReturns Growth | $19 | 60 requests a month, then $0.40 per extra request |
| QuickReturns Boost | $49 | 300 requests a month, then $0.30 per extra request |
| QuickReturns Scale | $99 | 500 requests a month, then $0.20 per extra request |
| QuickReturns Custom | On request | More than 500 requests a month |
Three details matter when you read Loop’s prices. First, Shop Now, Instant Exchange and Bonus Credit come with Checkout+ and Advanced, and Loop’s plan table leaves them off Essential. Second, Loop’s pricing FAQ says it bills on the returns submitted in a calendar month. Third, the same FAQ says plans outside its month-to-month options need an annual contract.
In contrast, QuickReturns prints the price of every extra request, and its paid plans have no feature limits. Plans change, so confirm current prices on Loop’s pricing page before you sign.
You can also see the QuickReturns pricing plans for everything each plan includes.
Loop Returns: a free Checkout+ plan, then paid plans from $155
Loop publishes its scale on its homepage. There, it reports data from 100M+ returns and 5K+ brands. In addition, its Shopify page lists 120+ integrations. For Shopify brands, Loop says go-live often takes 15 to 45 days.
Where Loop Returns is strong
- Workflows for rules-based return policy paths, on all three plans.
- Shop Now, Instant Exchange and Bonus Credit, on Checkout+ and Advanced.
- Store credit, variant exchanges, a custom URL and cross-border returns, on all three plans.
- Dedicated onboarding and a dedicated support team, also on all three plans.
Where Loop Returns is a harder sell
- Paid plans start at $155 a month for Essential and $340 a month for Advanced. Enterprise pricing comes from the sales team.
- Essential does not include Shop Now, Instant Exchange or Bonus Credit. For those, you need Checkout+ or Advanced.
- Loop’s pricing FAQ says plans outside its month-to-month options need an annual contract.
- Checkout+ lists US and Canada domestic return labels. Therefore, ask Loop about label coverage if you ship from another country.
In our view, Loop fits brands that want its exchange features and can commit to an annual plan. The cost example further down shows the monthly difference at 60 and 300 returns, and we also have a page on QuickReturns as a Loop Returns alternative.
AfterShip Returns: $19 for 20 returns, against 60 on QuickReturns
AfterShip Returns lists three plans on the Shopify App Store. Return Care is free. The listing gives it all Premium features, shopper-funded returns, return labels handled by AfterShip and a revenue share. Essentials costs $19 a month for 20 returns, then $0.50 per extra return. Premium costs $119 a month for 100 returns, then $1 per extra return.
Where AfterShip Returns is strong
- A low entry price. Essentials costs $19 a month, and the listing offers the first month for $1 and a 7-day free trial.
- Essentials includes a branded returns page, automatic return approvals, automatic in-app labels, eligibility rules and return analytics.
- Premium adds advanced workflows, AI-powered exchanges, fraud prevention, a warranty portal and pre-built integrations.
- The listing says the app recaptures revenue by converting refunds into exchanges or store credit.
- The app is listed in five languages: English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
- It suits a store that already runs AfterShip for tracking and wants one vendor after the sale.
Where AfterShip Returns is a harder sell
- Essentials includes 20 returns a month. As a result, a store with 60 returns pays for 40 extra ones at $0.50 each.
- Of the two paid plans, only Premium, at $119 a month, lists advanced workflows, AI-powered exchanges and fraud prevention. The free Return Care plan lists all Premium features.
- Extra returns on Premium cost $1 each, so the bill grows quickly above 100 returns a month.
- The listing names Canada Post, FedEx, UPS and USPS. So, ask AfterShip about courier coverage for your country before you commit.
In our view, AfterShip Returns suits a store with about 20 returns a month, or one that already uses AfterShip.
QuickReturns: published per-request prices and exchange offers
QuickReturns is a Shopify app for returns, exchanges and store credit. Merchants in any country can install it, and setup takes about 30 minutes. After that, shoppers raise their own return requests in your portal.
Where QuickReturns is strong
- ConvertX shows the shopper curated products against the item they are returning, to turn the return into an exchange. It comes with every paid plan, from $19 a month.
- Branded return portals carry your logo, brand colour, custom CSS and translations, and they run on your store’s own subpath. The Free plan includes the portal.
- Store credit is a refund method. Shoppers can choose the QuickReturns wallet, the original payment method or a bank transfer.
- Courier integrations include Shiprocket, Delhivery, Blue Dart and Xpressbees in India. Internationally, they include UPS, Shippo, Canada Post and Australia Post.
- You can approve requests by hand or let rules approve them. Automations come with every paid plan.
- Prices are public. Growth costs $19 a month for 60 requests, Boost $49 for 300 and Scale $99 for 500. Also, paid plans have no feature limits.
- Every plan, including Free, comes with an account manager, a 1:1 onboarding call and live chat support.

Where QuickReturns is still growing
- Loop is the larger platform. It reports 5K+ brands, while QuickReturns serves 1,000+ brands.
- The Free plan stops at 10 requests a month. Then you wait for the next cycle or move to Growth.
- The portal supports 15 languages, including English, French, Spanish, German and Arabic.
